Does the Western Digital My Book Live Support the Use of a USB Flash Drive?
Comments OffTo access all your files no matter where you are, Western Digital offers the My Book Live storage space associated with your hard drive.
Simply plug the storage device to the Internet via your Box or router with the Ethernet port (Gigabit Ethernet) and you access them easily with your computer. The 800 MHz processor ensures an integrated design and provides, according to Western Digital, a playback speed enough to enjoy your content without interruptions. Simply send your streaming music, photos and movies to any DLNA certified device such as your TV or your console with its built-in media server. Western Digital My Book Live will allow you to centralize your collection of music and video thanks to its compatibility with iTunes. With the WD SmartWare software you can also make automatic backups of all computers, PC or Mac on your home network. You can choose from three storage capacities to suit your needs: 1 TB, 2 TB and 3 TB. Unfortunately no other ports of access such as SD card slots or USB Flash Drive slots which would have ensured an easier method of transferring data.
